MCM 102: Mold Remediation
Mold has potential health hazards and it should be addressed immediately once detected. This class will provide you with information about the potential health hazards that are associated with mold exposure. You will learn best practices to minimize mold growth and how it is safely removed when discovered.
Mold spores thrive on moisture and, if left unchecked, can result in property damage and health issues. This class will take you through the mold remediation process from start to finish, addressing moisture, containment, air flow and cross-contamination.
Other topics discussed: performing mold investigations, building containment, avoiding cross-contamination and tips on how to best communicate with building occupants if mold is discovered.
