Eligibility for SMS Opt-In

By providing EPIC with your mobile number, you will be automatically enrolled in EPIC’s SMS service for notifications. Should you wish to opt-out, simply text “stop” to 770–516–3491.

Subscription Process

Customers can subscribe to our SMS alert service by texting the word “EPIC” to 770–516–3491. After texting “EPIC,” customers will receive an automatic message asking to reply “YES” if they want to opt-in to our service. Once the customer texts back “YES,” they will receive a confirmation message and will be officially registered for the SMS alert service.

Opt-Out Process

If at any time a customer wishes to cancel their subscription to our emergency SMS alerts, they can do so by texting “STOP” to 770–516–3491. Customers can also contact 770–516–3491 for assistance or to update their subscription information.

Frequency of SMS Alerts

EPIC will send SMS alerts to customers only when important and relevant information arises in our licensed states. The frequency of alerts sent will depend on the nature and frequency of emergencies in our service areas.

Message Rates

EPIC does not charge any fees for SMS alert services. However, message and data rates may apply according to the customer’s mobile service provider.

Privacy Policy

At EPIC, we value our customers’ privacy and security. We will not share any personal information obtained through our SMS alert service with any third-party service providers or parties not affiliated with EPIC.
